Our Motivation

Euler's Challenges was founded to celebrate the legacy of Leonhard Euler and to share a deep passion for mathematics. This competition invites Lebanese students to engage with creative and rigorous problems that highlight the beauty and logic of mathematical thinking.

More than a test of skill, it’s an invitation to explore patterns, solve puzzles, and appreciate the elegance of abstract ideas. Our mission is to spark curiosity, build confidence, and strengthen analytical abilities.

Competition Rules & Procedures

General Rules

Open to all students up to grade 12
Individual competition only
No calculators or electronic devices allowed
All solutions must be written in English or French
Partial credit awarded for incomplete solutions

Competition Format

Duration: 200 minutes
5 problems of increasing difficulty
Each problem worth 7 points
Problems cover various mathematical areas
Emphasis on proof elegance and reasoning

Scoring & Awards

Gold Medal: 1st place
Silver Medal: 2nd place
Bronze Medal: 3rd place
Honorable Mention: 4th and 5th place
Special prizes for elegant solutions
